U.S. Xpress Enterprises announced that Tom Smith will be president of Arnold Transportation Services, a regional truckload carrier owned by U.S. Xpress.

Smith has more than 25 years of experience in the transportation industry and most recently served as president of LinkAmerica Corporation, a holding company for several regional truckload carriers in the U.S. During his presidency, LinkAmerica grew to more than $150 million in revenue.

"We believe that Todd's track record of success in overseeing regional operations is perfectly suited to lead Arnold into the future within a highly competitive marketplace," says Max Fuller, chairman and CEO of U.S. Xpress.
