The American Council of Frame and Alignment Specialists will hold a seminar on preventive maintenance vehicles inspections and service advisor training May 13-14 in Altoona, Wis.

The seminar will concentrate on electronic roll resistance brake testing, undercarriage and suspension analysis, establishing and conducting preventative maintenance programs, marketing the preventtive maintenance programs, and training service advisors.

Seminar organizers note that during Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week earlier this year, trucking industry analyst Stu MacKay reported that heavy-duty truck fleets are interested in outsourcing more of their maintenance, offering an excellent opportunity for the aftermarket to provide service to the trucking industry. This seminar can help in that area, organizers say.

It will be held at the TruckAlign Suspension Center in Altoona, Wis.

ACOFAS is making this seminar available to all members of ACOFAS for a $150 registration fee. Members of NTHECC, SSA, HDDA, and CVSN may attend for $200 registration fee. The fee for non-members is $300. The fee includes training materials and two lunches.
