The decision to expand comes in part from a supply and demand standpoint, with Mav IC experiencing a waiting list of applicants for nearly the past two years. Through Maverick Logistics, the company is able to offer consistent freight and miles. Lease Purchase drivers receive 77 percent gross revenue to the truck plus 100 percent of the fuel surcharge paid directly to them.
"We make it easy for an independent contractor just starting out. We don't require any money down and provide an installment plan if needed for purchasing equipment," said Joe Johnson, the general manager of Mav IC.
