Knight Transportation Opens 4 New Service Centers

Knight Transportation Inc. has opened one new dry van service center and three new brokerage service centers. The dry van service center is located in Dallas, Texas, and the three new brokerage centers service the Atlanta,
Reno and Los Angeles markets.
These new openings increase the service center network to 27 dry van, four refrigerated, and 12 brokerage service centers.
Chairman and CEO Kevin Knight said, "These new service centers grow our nationwide transportation network to 43 service centers strong. Although we are in a challenging freight environment, we believe our service center expansion continues to be a medium for growth and will continue to position us well for an improved demand environment. Our growing dry van network enhances our ability to provide local service and create quality driving jobs. Our expanding brokerage presence increases the transportation solutions we can offer to our customers. As we assemble our network of asset and non-asset based service centers, we further strengthen our brand as the premier truckload transportation provider, providing hometown service to the local markets we serve."
