TMC Transportation, a division of Annett Holdings Inc., among the largest privately held flatbed carriers in the nation, honored TMC driver Bill Copenhaver with the highest driver honor given by TMC, the Wheel Master Award for 2006.

Copenhaver has been with TMC since November 1998. He was also recognized with the Driver of the Quarter Award for the fourth quarter in 2005. Copenhaver's dedication to excellence and other outstanding qualities are what made him a perfect recipient.
"From Day One, he has always had a very professional attitude towards his fellow co-workers, office staff and customers," said Travis Johnson, executive vice president of operations. "He is always giving 110 percent effort day in and day out - basically doing it right the first time."
The Wheel Master Program was created as a way of recognizing TMC's best drivers. Each year a driver is honored with the Driver of the Wheel Master distinction based on years of service with the company, safe driving record and overall quality performance.

TMC provides expert transportation services and supply-chain management solutions throughout the 48 contiguous states. TMC, founded in 1972, is headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa, and has experienced a 15-20 percent growth rate nearly every year since the early 1980s. TMC is one of the top 100 carriers in the nation based on revenue.
