"Predicting Crashes - It's Not Just for Psychics Anymore," is the title of an audio conference scheduled from noon to 1:30 p.m. ET on March 29, hosted by the Truckload Carriers Association.

If you knew what caused truck crashes, you could something about preventing them. Research done by the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) can give you a scientific advantage in identifying the behaviors that lead to crashes.
ATRI's landmark study, "Predicting Truck Crash Involvement," developed an analytic tool for determining the future likelihood of truck crashes based on specific driver behaviors. The research also quantified what carriers are doing to deal with the identified driver behaviors in terms of hiring, training and disciplinary action.
In recognition of the fact that focused enforcement of the driver behaviors identified is key to reducing their occurrence, ATRI's research also sought to identify the most successful enforcement strategies being employed to reduce crashes.
Hear more about the research findings and how carriers are now putting the findings to work to improve safety.
