KLLM Transport Services has received the Hunger’s Hero Award, presented by the Mississippi Food Network. Each year, the network recognizes an individual and/or company with the Hunger’s Hero Award,
presented in recognition of leadership in the network’s effort to alleviate hunger in the state.
Earlier in the year, KLLM Transport donated a 53-foot refrigerated trailer to Mississippi Food Network to be used in the distribution of food across the state. Jim Richards, chief operating officer of KLLM, accepted the award from Floyd Sulser, chairman of the Mississippi Food Network Board.
KLLM, located in Richland, Miss., provides transport of truckload freight to customers throughout the continental United States and Mexico and maintains a fleet of company-owned tractor/trailers and owner-operators. For 40 years, KLLM has been transporting perishable commodities and dry haul cargo.
