Benchmark Performance Group, which develops and supplies specialty chemicals for the oil and gas pressure pumping services industry, has launched its new transportation services company, Benchmark Distribution Services, L.P. (BDS).
BDS will provide general, common carrier freight hauling services 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the continental United States.
“We use BDS to transport our own products each and every day, and our fleet of trucks and transports is a key element of the SlurryService segment of our business, so it only made sense for us to use our fleet to extend these services to other companies in need of safe, reliable transportation for their products,” said Wayne Kinsey, president and CEO of Benchmark. “In the current environment, being able to receive and deploy critical materials ‘on time, every time’ is the difference between the winners and the losers.”
BDS maintains a fleet of late model tractors and trailers and pays top dollar to hire experienced drivers. All of the company’s drivers are required to have hazmat certification.
Founded by Kinsey in 1981 as Chemical Blending Services, Benchmark Performance Group celebrates 25 years of service to the oil and gas industry this year.
