WTI Transport is now paying for IdleAire services for its company drivers. WTI company drivers can look forward to having perks like movies, TV, heating and air conditioning right in their cab without idling.

In addition, owner-operators leased to WTI will benefit from reduced IdleAire rates. All they have to do in order to take advantage of these rates is use their fuel cards, and the IdleAire service will be deducted in the same way as a fuel purchase.
Rendy Taylor, WTI president, said, “We feel that by providing the IdleAire benefit, our drivers will save money by not having to idle their trucks. We also hope to improve their standard of living by providing them with other comfort items they are used to at home, like cable TV and Internet access. We are looking forward to our relationship with IdleAire; we feel that it is a win-win for everyone.”
WTI Transport is a flatbed carrier servicing 26 states, primarily in the Southeast, Midwest, Southwest and lower East Coast.
Main shipments consist of roofing, building materials and all types of iron and steel products. The company has grown from a small 40-truck operation in the 1980s to more than 250 power units today.
