Eric Harley and Gary McNamara, hosts of The Midnight Trucking Radio Network (MTRN), will welcome Country Music Legend Aaron Tippin at this year’s Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky.
Midnight Trucking Radio Hosts Aaron Tippin at MATS

Aaron Tippin will be available for autographs from 1 to 4 p.m. on opening day, Thursday, March 23, at the Midnight Trucking Radio Network booth in the lobby of the show.
After six Top 10 singles, one Top 5 single, one No. 2 single, three No. 1 singles and sales of 5 million albums over the life of his career, Aaron Tippin still sings what he knows about most – strong family ties and hard work.
Aaron’s career was launched when his debut single, "You've Got to Stand for Something," reached the Top 10 in 1991 and became an anthem for a nation embroiled in the conflict of Desert Storm. Aaron quickly became a voice of patriotism, a badge he wears proudly and has carried with him throughout his career. Ten years later, he cut the track, “Where The Stars And Stripes And The Eagle Fly,” immediately following the 9/11 terrorist attacks and donated proceeds from the commercial single, which zoomed to No. 2 on the Billboard chart, to the Disaster Relief Fund of the Nashville Area Chapter of the American Red Cross.
“Country fans went out and bought the record to help other Americans who needed help at the time,” Aaron says. “That’s common of what real country fans are like.”
MATS attendees can register at the booth for $1,000 cash to be given away Saturday afternoon at the end of the show.
Truckers can also join Eric Harley that night (Thursday night/Friday morning) from 1 to 6 a.m. EST for a live remote broadcast of the show from the lobby of the Executive West Hotel. The hotel is adjacent to the Kentucky Fair and Expo Center. The Midnight Trucking Network and sponsors are also providing free shuttle rides to and from the three-day show. To date, this year’s sponsors include: Castrol Tection Extra, Motel 6, ArvinMeritor, Transport Industries – a GreatWide Co. and Bridgestone Firestone.
The Midnight Trucking Network can be heard coast-to-coast on 50,000-watt AM stations nationwide as well as Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 147 .
Owned and operated by The Walt Disney Co., MTRN provides truck drivers with up to the minute news/talk and entertainment live between midnight and 5 a.m. Central.
