Third-party logistics, expedited services and less-than-truckload (LTL) services.
Logistics Management’s 19th annual “Quest for Quality” program is the transportation and logistics industry’s largest customer satisfaction study.
The study's results are based on survey responses from more than 2,000 readers, made up of freight shippers across North America.
This is the first time in the survey's history that Averitt has achieved recognition as among the industry's best in the categories of expedited services and third-party logistics. Over the survey's history, Averitt has been named among the leaders in LTL services 17 times, including each year for the past 13 consecutive years.
The survey participants evaluated their core transportation providers' performance in five key areas vital to superior logistics execution: on-time performance, value, information technology, customer service and equipment and operations.
A different set of criteria is used to judge third-party logistics providers: carrier selection and negotiation, order fulfillment, transportation and distribution, inventory management, and logistics information systems.
