CFI, an international truckload carrier based in Joplin, Mo., has announced the company’s monthly driver award recipients for June 2005.

The Company Driver of the Month is William Porm, a Dallas, Texas, resident who started driving for CFI in 2004.
Derrick Smith & Amy Morford were named Company Team of the Month. The pair live in Anderson, Mo., and began driving for CFI in 1992 and 1998, respectively.
Contractor Driver of the Month is James Freeman, a 20-year veteran of CFI, who resides in Webb City, Mo.
And the Contractor Team of the Month is Roger Bolan & Ray Poland, who began driving for CFI in 1995 and 1998, respectively.
Each driver and team is automatically nominated for the 2005 year-end award in their respective category. All full-time over the road drivers who have been certified as a driver at CFI for one year are eligible for the CFI driver awards.
CFI, founded in 1951, operates more than 2,400 tractors and over 7,400 trailers and transports a variety of goods throughout the contiguous United States and Canada. CFI interlines with Mexican carriers at various border crossings to provide through-trailer service to Mexico.
