In March, the Truckload Carriers Assn. announced that Jerry Johnson with O&S Trucking of Springfield, Mo., had been named TCA Contractor of the Year. Johnson has driven more than four million miles in his 40 years on the road.

This month, Johnson took possession of his prize – a new International 9900ix Eagle tractor with SkyRise sleeper and optional double bunk. The truck includes an Eaton transmission donated by Roadranger, Eaton and Dana Corp., 10 G300 series radial truck tires donated by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., a pair of National Premium Cloth Seats donated by National Seating Co. and an Aero Bell TriPod Mirror Head and Bracket Kit donated by Velvac Inc.
In addition, Johnson will also receive approximately $10,000 worth of prizes from a variety of event sponsors.
