Truckload carrier Barr-Nunn, Granger, Iowa, has announced a new over-the-road driver pay packages
and the addition of PrePass to its list of driver benefits.
According to recent press releases, Barr-Nunn has raised pay for company drivers with one to six years of verifiable experience to 39 cents per mile from the previous 37 and 38 cents per mile. Drivers with seven or more years verifiable experience will earn 40 cents per mile, up from 39 cents. At the same time, the company increased its pay cap from 44 cents per mile to 45 cents per mile while maintaining a 1.5 cents per mile annual pay increases and a 1 cent per mile contribution to a driver’s 401(k).
Barr-Nunn also announced it has signed up for PrePass Plus that usually allows trucks to bypass all but the first weigh station they encounter and to pay some tolls electronically.
