James E. Tatum, a driver trainer for Distribution Technologies Inc. (DistTech) based in Ironton, Ohio, was recently honored by the Ohio Trucking Assn.
as a Driver of the Month for 2004.
Tatum received his award at the OTA’s annual safety awards banquet earlier this month. He was one of 12 drivers chosen for the Driver of the Month honor based on such criteria as safety record, years of service and community contributions.
A professional truck driver for 31 years, Tatum has accumulated nearly four million accident-free miles.
