The Michigan Trucking Assn. has announced that Warren Transport Inc. earned a first place award in the association’s truck fleet safety contest
as the safest operating carrier in the state in its division during 2004.
The contest, representing the safest motor carriers on the road, measures accident frequency ratios and honors the carrier with the fewest accidents per million miles traveled. Warren Transport amassed more than a half million miles in Michigan during 2004.
Similarly, the Missouri Motor Carriers Assn. announced that Warren Transport earned a first place award in its truck fleet safety contest. Warren Transport amassed more than one million accident-free miles in Missouri during the year.
Warren, headquartered in Waterloo, Iowa, is a specialized carrier operating in all 48 contiguous United States and Canada, with through trailer service to and from Mexico. Warren is the largest transporter of agricultural and farm machinery in North America.
