Quality Distribution Inc., Tampa, Fla. has appointed Gary R. Enzor as executive vice president and chief operating officer and Timothy B. Page as senior vice president and chief financial officer.
Quality Distribution operates bulk carrier Quality Carriers among other business units.
Enzor was chief financial officer for Swift Transportation Company, Inc. where his departure coincided last week with a change in leadership. Also on Friday, Enzor was named along with Swift and other Swift executives in a class action lawsuit involving Swift stock. Prior to Swift, Mr. Enzor served in senior executive positions with Allied Signal, Honeywell, and Dell Computer.
Page comes to the Quality Distribution from Perry Ellis International where he was chief financial officer. Prior to that, he was chief operating officer and a member of the Board of Farah, Inc. In the late 1980s, Mr. Page founded and ran his own specialty chemical and industrial gas manufacturing and distribution business.
The company also announced that Richard B. Marchese, a director who had stepped down from his position as chairman of the Audit and Corporate Governance Committees to serve as interim chief financial officer, will leave the staff and continue in his Board role.
Page will join the company December 1, Enzor on December 13.
