Hub Group, Inc., Downers Grove, Ill., was named The Home Depot’s Intermodal Carrier of the Year for 2004.
This is the first year The Home Depot has chosen a carrier for this distinction.
Hub was recognized for exceeding expectations by improving service levels, pro-actively solving rail and drayage issues and providing excellent administrative assistance. The award was presented to Mark Yeager, chief operating officer and president - Field Operations, Hub Group, and Phil Bayle, regional vice president of operations, Hub Group, at The Home Depot’s annual carrier conference.
