“Our new affiliation with DistTech will enable us to race first-class and be even more competitive,” said Cox Racing Crew Chief Wayne Cox, who is the maintenance supervisor for one of DistTech’s chemical customers in the Houston area. “We’ll be unveiling the car’s new DistTech branding at the AutoRama at Reliant Center in Houston December 3-5.”
Driven by Gary Cox, Vanishing Point will begin racing in the NHRA’s South Central Division in March 2005. Cox Racing expects to enter the car in numerous local and national competitions and points meets, including the 25th Annual Mopar Nationals in Columbus, Ohio Aug. 12-14, 2005.
