Celadon Group, Inc. Indianapolis, Ind., reported operating results for the three months ended September 30, 2004, the first fiscal quarter of the Company's fiscal year ending June 30, 2005.
For the quarter, operating revenue increased 9.1% to $104.4 million, compared with $95.7 million for the same quarter last year. Net income increased to $2.8 million from a loss of $5.5 million and diluted earnings per share improved to $0.27 from a loss of $0.72.
