Indianapolis-based Wheaton World Wide Moving recently presented its second annual run/walk event to benefit wish children in Indiana and around the world.

The 4 Miles For Wishes festival took place in downtown Indianapolis, Ind. last summer.
Wheaton was able to boost event participation a full 20% over 2003; significant gains were also made this year in the number of volunteers and in the level of contributor/sponsor donations.
Wheaton agents in particular responded to their carrier’s call for assistance, easily surpassing lofty pre-race fundraising goals. By the time the final numbers had been tabulated, this year’s benefit had brought in just over $30,800, with proceeds going to the Give Kids The World Village in Central Florida and Indiana Children’s Wish Fund, based in Indianapolis.
Wheaton Chairman of the Board and CEO Stephen F. Burns who walked in the event for the second straight year, said, "At Wheaton we’ve been truly blessed to have the finest family of drivers, agents and corporate associates in the industry. We’re honored to assist these two fantastic organizations any way we can."
