The Technology & Maintenance Council’s (TMC) 2004 Fall Meeting will be held Sept. 13-16 in the Renaissance Hotel in Nashville, Tenn., and will again feature separate equipment and IT/logistics tracks.

In addition, there will be a special program for technicians, a commercial vehicle users forum, VMRS 2000 workshop and an EDI workshop. TMC's TechFest, an IT/logistics tabletop technology display, will be held Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning.
Steve Williams, CEO of Maverick Transportation and American Trucking Assns.' vice chairman, will be the keynote speaker for Wednesday's Industry Awards Luncheon.
The Equipment Track begins on Monday, Sept. 13, with a full schedule of task force meetings followed by fleet talk, associates meeting and fleet operators' forum/town meeting.
The commercial vehicle users forum will run all day Tuesday.
Wednesday will include mini-tech sessions and a full technical session on rollover and collision avoidance technology.
The information technology and logistics meeting track starts with task force meetings on Tuesday afternoon. Three full technical sessions will be held on Wednesday, along with two mini-technical sessions, followed by the IT/logistics TechFest tabletop technology display. Thursday's schedule will include a walk-around breakfast in the TechFest exhibit hall, IT/Logistics Shop Talk and two mini-technical sessions.
In addition to equipment maintenance technical sessions, specific technical training sessions on EGR/ACERT Emissions Controls Diagnostics will be held from 6:30 - 8 p.m. Monday, and Wheel End Maintenance and Installation and HVAC Diagnostics will be held from 4 - 6:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Full meeting registration on or before Aug. 30 for TMC/ATA members is $295; $395 for nonmembers. After Aug. 30, registration is $395 for TMC/ATA members; $495 for nonmembers. Full meeting registration also includes admission to the commercial vehicle users forum and EDI Workshop.
Registration for the VMRS 2000 Workshop is $125 for TMC/ATA members; $225 for nonmembers.
Meeting registration to attend a single day is $50 for TMC/ATA members; $75 for nonmembers. A two-day registration is $95 for TMC/ATA members; $140 for nonmembers. A spouse's package for two days of events is $195. (See TMC's web site for early registration savings.)
