Faced with emergency or rush shipments, customers can take advantage of joint rapid and guaranteed services from G.I. Trucking Co. and its ExpressLINK alliance partner, Estes Express Lines.

The company's Gold Star Expedited Service is available to all of G.I. Trucking's direct service points within the western United States.
Estes Express Lines, headquartered in Richmond, Va., provides Gold Medal Expedited Service to all of its direct service points within the eastern United States.
The customer service representatives coordinating both companies' expedited service offerings are located in the same call center that now provides expanded coordination for the service offering.
Fran Glidewell, vice president for sales and marketing for G.I. Trucking, said, "A customer just has to contact the G.I. Trucking Company/Estes Express Lines center for one-on-one service."
By contacting the call center at (888) 465-3588, customers will have the options of either Standard Service or Express Service. Approximately 10 service agents will regularly be available to handle customer requirements.
Under the Express Service Option, customers with time sensitive shipments can arrange for special handling to guarantee delivery. For example, if a shipment normally takes five days, a customer may have the option of delivery in a four-day period.

Establishing joint coordination with Estes Express Lines provides another expanded level of quality customer service throughout our national ExpressLINK service territory," said Bill Reid, president of G.I. Trucking.
