CFI, an international truckload carrier based in Joplin, Mo., has announced its monthly driver award recipients for February 2004:

-- Company Driver of the Month: Wayne Herrington has been driving with CFI since 1994. Herrington resides in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
-- Company Team of the Month: Bob and Peggy Stanton live in Joplin, Mo. They both started driving with CFI in 2000.
-- Contractor Driver of the Month: Alvin Courte resides in Henderson, Texas. He began his career with CFI in 1996.
-- Contractor Team of the Month: Randy and Diana Cross live in Park Hill, Okla. They began driving with CFI two years ago.
February winners are automatically nominated for the 2004 year-end award in their respective category. All full-time over the road drivers who have been certified as a driver at CFI for one year are eligible for the CFI driver awards. Additional qualifications are as follows:
-- Received no moving violations in the previous 12 months;
-- Involved in no accidents in the previous 12 months;
-- Received no out of service violations through state/federal inspections in the previous 12 months.
CFI, founded in 1951, operates 2,500 tractors and more than 6,500 trailers and transports a variety of goods throughout the United States and Canada. CFI interlines with Mexican carriers at various border crossings to provide through-trailer service to Mexico. In addition to its Joplin headquarters, CFI operates five terminals.
