ChevronTexaco Global Lubricants (CTGL) is co-sponsoring the hours of service seminar at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky., later this month.

"The new hours of service regulations are still a major source of confusion for fleets and owner-operations," said Gary Parsons, Commercial Automotive Business Unit manager for CTGL. "As part of the transportation community, ChevronTexaco Global Lubricants is committed to helping its customers and the market as a whole better understand important industry issues like hours of service.
Co-sponsoring this event with J. J. Keller & Associates and the Kentucky Motor Transport Association is our way of delivering on that commitment."
The seminar will address many of the key issues raised by the new hours of service regulations, including:
-- Details on the new 11-hour rule, the 16-hour provision and the controversial 14 consecutive hour rule
-- The sleeper berth option
-- Examples of record of duty status and log auditing exercises
-- Tips on how to operate efficiently under the new regulations
-- Information for carriers on how to educate drivers, dispatchers, shippers and customers.
The seminar is scheduled from 3 to 4 p.m. on March 26 in Room 101 of the South Wing.
Admission to the seminar is free.
