Schneider National Inc. has opened a new intermodal field office in Auburn, Wash., approximately 30 miles outside of Seattle, to meet the shipping needs of current customers,
including large retailers, food manufacturers and distribution companies based in Washington and Oregon.
This move is part of Schneider National's ongoing commitment to expand its presence throughout the country to better serve its intermodal customer base.
Dean Yamada, regional manager of intermodal services at Schneider National, will manage the new office, located at 1016 W. Main Ave.
Schneider National currently operates nine intermodal field offices throughout the United States, including the new Auburn location. Additional offices are located in Concord, Calif., Fullerton, Calif., Dallas, Texas, Little Falls, N.J., Atlanta, Ga., Cincinnati, Ohio, Chicago, Ill., and Green Bay, Wis. The company will manage nationwide intermodal loads out of the new office on behalf of customers throughout the Pacific Northwest.
