Prime Inc., one of the nation’s largest refrigerated trucking companies, has inducted 30 contractors, company drivers and owner-operators to its new Two Million Safe Miles Club.

This select group of drivers has a minimum of 15 years of service and two million safe miles or more without a preventable accident. Each member will receive a custom designed Prime leather jacket and a personalized plaque.
Don D. Lacy, director of safety at Prime said, "One million safe miles is a tremendous accomplishment. Two million safe miles puts professional drivers in a special category obtained by a very select few."
Robert Low, president of Prime Inc., said, "Safe, accident free driving is the highest measure of a professional driver. Most Americans don’t have any idea how difficult it is to accomplish even one year of totally preventable accident free driving. The skill and abundance of caution that these special drivers demonstrate is simply incredible. The recipients of the Two Million Mile ‘Millionaires’ Club Award are heroes because by operating their vehicles safely, they have saved many lives and prevented many injuries on our nation’s highways."
