Less-than-truckload commercial freight carrier Con-Way Southern Express (CSE) will open a new 22,000-square-foot service center in Newnan, Ga., on Nov. 10.

In 2000, the Ft. Worth-based company built a 100-door facility in nearby Gwinnett County. The new facility will give CSE 11 facilities in Georgia and 118 throughout 12 states in the Southeast, District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
The new facility will have 40 dock doors and a freight handling capacity of more than three million pounds a day. Located on 10 acres, the facility will open with 34 new employees.
