Wheaton World Wide Moving, one of the nation's leading specialists in household goods moving, recently honored 12 of its Drivers of the Month for January, February, March and April.

Andres Alvarado of Los Angeles, Calif., and Shawn Doering with Central Moving & Storage, Orlando, Fla., each received a permanent fleet Driver of the Month award for performance in January. This is Alvarado's first Driver of the Month award. He has driven more than 50,000 safe miles since he qualified with Wheaton last year. Doering has logged more than 150,000 miles under Wheaton's safe mileage program since qualifying with Wheaton in 2000.
Phillip Cloud with Cloud's Moving & Storage, Washington, Utah, and Martin Sopko with Sopko Moving & Storage, Manville, N.J., were selected as January Drivers of the Month from the intermittent fleet. Cloud and Sopko have logged more than 50,000 and 450,000 safe miles respectively while in Wheaton service.
Clinnon Hall of Tallahassee, Fla., and Matthew Hall of Gulfport, Miss., each received a permanent fleet Driver of the Month award for performance in February. Clinnon Hall and Matthew Hall have logged 850,000 and 550,000 safe miles respectively at Wheaton. Jeremy Radford with Preferred Movers Inc., Crossville, Tenn., and Jerry Wilson with Bell Moving & Storage, Cincinnati, Ohio, were selected as February Drivers of the Month from the intermittent fleet. Radford has logged more than 50,000 safe miles since he qualified with Wheaton last year, and Wilson has logged more than 400,000 safe miles since he qualified in 1993.
Ronnie Johnson of Katy, Texas, and Wilbur Pascoe of Clovis, Calif., each received a permanent fleet Driver of the Month award for performance in March. Johnson has driven more than 50,000 safe miles since he qualified with Wheaton, and Pascoe was a 2001 Driver of the Year recipient. Robert Pritchard with Tide Moving & Storage, Theodore, Ala., and Todd Tintle with Tintle's Moving Service, Pompton Lakes, N.J., were selected as March Drivers of the Month from the intermittent fleet. Pritchard has been named a Driver of the Year in 2001 and 2002. Tintle has logged more than 750,000 miles under Wheaton's safe mileage program.
Carmen Johnson of Orlando, Fla., and Leander Lewis of Jacksonville, N.C., each received a permanent fleet Driver of the Month award for performance in April. Johnson and Lewis have logged more than 1,400,000 and 1,200,000 safe miles respectively while in Wheaton service. Geoffrey Fairchild with Norwood Moving Systems, Mountain Home, Ark., and Michael Mather with Mather Brothers Moving Co., Garner, N.C., were selected as April Drivers of the Month from the intermittent fleet. Each has logged more than 50,000 safe miles under Wheaton's safe mileage program.
Each driver received a cash award and a plaque, along with Driver of the Month uniform patches and equipment decals.
