The National Private Truck Council (NPTC) will hold its first National Safety Conference, called "Strategic Planning for Private Fleets," Sept. 18 and 19
at the Hyatt Dulles Hotel in Herndon, Va. (near Dulles International Airport).
The National Safety Conference will provide a unique format of "big picture" presentations by industry specialists, discussions with key government representatives, problem solving workshops, table top exhibits and expert panels that will provide attendees with insights into solutions for strategic safety and security planning that challenge today's private fleets.
Program topics include Operational Discipline and Behavioral Safety; Developing a Company-Wide Security Plan; Understanding Driver Fatigue and Implementing Wellness Strategies; Linking your Safety Strategy With Your Corporate Strategy; Regulatory Updates - From Impact to Implementation; and Safety Leadership - Walking the Talk.
Program and registration information is available on NPTC's web site at www.nptc.org.
NPTC is the national association exclusively representing the interests of corporate and business truck fleets. Fleet membership is for companies operating owned, leased or dedicated truck fleets as an extension or their primary non-trucking business.
