SKF and Chicago Rawhide have announced the winners of their Heavy-Duty Cash/Harley-Davidson contest.

The promotion, which began in the spring of 2002, awarded cash as well as a chance to win the Grand Prize of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Altogether, four Harley Davidson FXDL Lowrider motorcycles were awarded --three to technicians and one to a distributor sales representative.
The winning technicians are: Jim Luke from HRC Trucking in Powhatan Point, Ohio; Brian Driscoll from Greggo & Ferrarra Inc, in Wilmington, Del.; and Gale Janzen from Kindersley Transport Trailer Shop in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The winning distributor sales representative is Brandon Sattler from Sattler Supply in Eunice, La.
Technicians were asked to fill in poster-sized game boards documenting their installation of SKF and Chicago Rawhide products, including Scotseal PlusXL, Classic, Longlife seals and Chicago Rawhide hubcaps and hubodometers. Cash prizes in this contest were awarded as the game squares were filled in with every completed square being automatically entered for the Grand Prize Draw of a new Harley-Davidson FXDL Lowrider motorcycle.
Mike McGrath, vice president of the Vehicle Service Market (VSM) Sales Business Unit. "We knew that Harley-Davidson motorcycles would appeal to the majority of players in the heavy-duty aftermarket, making this promotion a big success."
CR salesmen with the most completed boards returned from their territory were Dennis Osiecki with 183 completed boards, while Scott Petersen had 129 for second place. Honorable mentions go to Steve Harrower with 77, Tom Mahoney with 66 and the top NAPA sales representative is Steve Rathbone with 33. One of the winning technicians, Jim Luke, is employed by a fleet that purchases their CR/SKF products from NAPA. Brian Driscoll and Gale Janzen, the other two winning technicians, are with fleets that purchase their CR/SKF products from VIPAR members. The winning distributor sales representative, Brandon Sattler, is also a member of the VIPAR group.
