Tom Gardner, co-founder of the Motley Fool, heads a slate of speakers at the American Truck Dealers (ATD) 40th annual convention and exposition April 12-14 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.

Other featured speakers include Frank Maguire, retired senior vice president of Federal Express; Stuart Hollingshead, ATD chairman and president of BridgeHaven Truck Sales in Milford, Conn.; and Anthony Santomero, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.
Gardner has co-authored four best sellers and hosts the Motley Fool Radio Show, which airs weekly on more than 150 stations across the country. On the Internet, Gardner directs and writes about the Rule Maker portfolio, a real-money stock portfolio that invests in dominant brands and market-lending businesses.
Maguire will be the featured speaker during the Super Workshop on Monday, April 14. He will share the experience he gained in some of the nation's most dynamic corporations. Hollingshead will speak during the general a session on Saturday, April 12. He has been a truck dealership owner since 1972 and was elected ATD's Ford line representative in 1998.
Santomero will offer a national economic outlook for these uncertain times at a luncheon on Sunday, April 13. He has headed the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia since July 2000 and is also chairman of the Mayor's Council of Economic Advisors.
The music and entertainment portion of the convention will include Paul Revere and the Raiders, as well as dance music provided by Nik and the Nice Guys during the final reception.
ATD represents more than 1,900 franchised medium- and heavy-duty truck dealers holding nearly 3,000 separate franchises, domestic and import.
