Wright Express has received the Maine Investors Award in recognition of the company's ongoing commitment to improving the Maine economy.

The Maine Investors Award is presented by the Maine State Chamber of Commerce to companies that make outstanding contributions to the growth of the state economy and who implement successful strategies to drive their own growth.
In the past year, South Portland-based Wright Express, one of the nation's leading providers of fleet cards and fleet management services, has invested millions of dollars in new technology in Maine. And in a symbol of the company's commitment to Maine, it moved into a new four-story headquarters building in South Portland this spring.
Wright Express said it also believes that it is good business to become active in the local community. Each year, Wright Express employees contribute thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours to community organizations and charities.
"We are proud to have received this award," said Michael Dubyak, president of Wright Express. "We believe strongly in the Maine economy and share a commitment with those who want to work hard to make it even more vibrant. I am especially proud of our employees who work so hard not only to make Wright Express a success, but give so much to help make their communities a success.
