Stonier Transportation Group, a leading freight forwarder and transportation management provider, announced continued strong sales results for the third quarter of 2002.
Stonier's revenue grew to $20 million for the quarter, a 100% increase over the $10 million generated in the same period last year. For the first nine months, revenues grew by 68% to $47 million.
"We're experiencing a stellar year," said Allen J. Steele, chairman and chief executive officer of the Jacksonville, Fla.-based company. "This can be attributed to a number of things, including business from new and existing customers. But most of the credit must go to our talented management team and the dedication of all our employees."
