The National Private Truck Council will hold an Advanced Fleet Management Seminar on Fleet Finances
Sept. 14-15, 2002 in Alexandria, Va.
The Advanced Fleet Management Seminar is a two-day educational program designed for private fleet transportation professionals. The primary overall focus is on the Financial/Cost Cutting strategies of fleet operations.
“This seminar stresses the financial big picture perspective,” said Gary Petty, president and CEO of NPTC. “Understanding the ever-changing dynamics of private fleet finances is virtually the prime skill standard of the successful fleet manager today. We will be looking at various business/financial models and their evolution; web-based collaborative alliances, as well as the international private fleet market of multi-national corporations and fleet equipment financing strategies.”
Also on the program are the financial implications of fleet management due to increased security and the higher cost of insurance.
The event will feature a panel of senior financial executives, presentations by fleet financing experts as well as fleet managers discussing the challenges of the continuously “raised bar” of expectations to deliver more value at lower overall cost.
Core topic areas to be covered in the seminar are: fleet financial management profit analysis; equipment financing; international fleet trends; collaborative e-logistic solutions; the never-ending risk management/insurance crisis; and, the importance of corporate communications.
