Organizers of the International Trucking Show, held last month in Las Vegas, report attendance numbers up from last year.

The show was held June 27-19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Truck operator registrations (fleets and owner operators combined) were up 14.25%. Total registrations were up 2% for a total of 27,904.
This year's ITS hosted almost 500 exhibitors and included all major truck makers and hundreds of other industry related suppliers. The show also hosted educational seminars and was the home of the "largest indoor truck beauty contest", the ITS Show & Shine/Stars and Stripes sponsored in part by Newport Communications.
"In a market that has faced many challenges over the past few years and at a time when almost all trade shows in every market are down, we are pleased to report positive results,” said Roger Sherrard, president of ITS Management, the Foster City, Calif.-based trade show management group.
Next year's 42nd Annual International Trucking Show will be held June 26-28 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. For more information visit www.truckshow.com.
