The Ohio Turnpike Commission will re-number its interchanges to reflect mileage.
After Labor Day, interchanges will be numbered based on the number of miles from the Ohio-Indiana line.
A turnpike commission survey of toll-road users found two-thirds were in favor of the change. Numbering interchanges based on mileage, rather than sequentially, has become the national standard.
