Roehl Transport is celebrating its 40th year in business with an emphasis on family.

The celebration acknowledges the Everett and Dolores Roehl family, who founded the company; the families of the company’s over 1,400 drivers; and the concept of a corporate family.
The company’s steady growth from a single truck owned and driven by Everett Roehl in 1962 to one of 100 largest trucking companies in the nation today is built on a three-pronged approach to business, President Rick Roehl explained. “We provide superior service to customers. We provide the industry’s best career opportunities to drivers. And we keep on the forefront of technologies that allow us to operate more efficiently.”
As a result, Roehl is consistently ranked by the ATA as one of 20 best-managed companies in the nation. That history of financial stability also means unmatched job security for drivers as well as industry-leading pay, benefits and home time. (In fact, independent surveys have ranked Roehl’s driver compensation in the top 10 among carriers with 100 or more drivers every quarter for almost six years.)
“Four decades is a milestone our whole company is proud of,” Rick Roehl noted. “We’re grateful for that success, but just as importantly we are proud to have achieved it based on the principle of treating drivers right. That philosophy is the soul of this company and we will always be the industry leaders in that area.”
Roehl Transport is based in Marshfield, Wis., with terminals and drop yards throughout the country. It operates van, curtainside and flatbed divisions and drivers can choose between national, Eastern, Midwest and Southeast regional fleets.
