One of the busiest border crossing in North America is expected to come to a standstill this weekend.

Traffic through the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel at the Canadian border will be stopped for two hours Sunday morning from 7:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. while the Tunnel conducts an emergency response simulation.
Officials with the Tunnel say this time period is the least busy at the facility, noting few Tunnel users are likely to be inconvenienced.
The exercise is designed to provide live situation training for emergency response, refine advance preparation and joint international response and communications.
