Landstar Ligon and Albert Moving & Storage have received Quality Awards from the U.S. Military Traffic Management Command.

Landstar Ligon was selected for outstanding customer service and, specifically, an incident when the carrier stepped in to find replacements for seven trucks booked for a 34-truck shipment that had cancelled at 10 a.m.
“Landstar was the only (carrier) that on short notice could have seven trucks in place by 2 p.m.,” MTMC noted. “The firm aggressively makes creative use of numerous media within Internet technology.”
Albert Moving & Storage, Wichita Falls, Texas, was cited for its professional packing, loading and moving services. “The firm meets requests with enthusiasm and trains employees before they are sent to a site,” MTMC said. “Among Albert’s innovations is a website that speeds information flow to customers.”
Other “industrial partners” to win the agency’s annual award are American President Lines, BAE Systems Technical Services, Daisy Tours & Conventions, FedEx Express, Minian S.A. Transports International, Navigant International/Rocky Mountain Region, Pilot Air Freight, and TTX Company.
