P.A.M. Transportation Services, Tontitown, Ark., finished up 2001 with a 10% increase in revenues and a 15% increase in earnings per share

The company reported net income of $10.07 million for the year ended Dec. 31, 2001, versus net income of $8.66 million for the year before.
Revenues were $225.79 million in 2001 compared to 2000 revenues of $205.25 million. The company reported fourth quarter 2001 net income of $2.55 million compared to fourth quarter 2000 net income of $2.37 million. Revenues for the fourth quarter of 2001 were $56.26 million, compared to $50.96 million in the same quarter of 2000.
Operating income of $21.27 million for the year reflected a 9.6% increase over prior year operating income of $19.4 million. Fourth quarter 2001 operating income was $5.29 million compared to $5.09 million for the fourth quarter of 2000.
