Organizers of the World’s Largest Truck Convoy are gearing up to set another world record.

The event, organized by the Orange County, Fla., Sheriff’s Office, will benefit the Special Olympics Florida and is set for July 20 in Orlando as they hope to break the record for the largest truck convoy, which they set last year.
Organizers say the truck route will cover an area of approximately 16 miles. It will begin at the intersection of State Route 434 and 408 at the Waterford Lakes Shopping Center and will end at the Central Florida Fairgrounds. Proceeds from entering the convoy will benefit more than 15,000 children and adults with mental retardation and/or severe handicaps through Special Olympics.
The Guiness Book of World Records has been notified to authenticate the event and has listed last year's event as a record.
