Roadway Express, one of the nation's largest less-than-truckload carriers, has entered the airfreight business.

The new freight forwarding operation, named Roadway Air, offers a single-source provider for expedited and time- and day-definite delivery services. Roadway Air is powered by Integres Global Logistics, a strategic partnership of leading transportation and technology solutions providers, including the largest combination passenger/cargo carriers in the U.S. Throughout the Integres network, Roadway Air customers have access to nearly 3,000 planes, over 12,000 daily flight departures and over 40,000 trailers, working with up to 400 terminals.
Roadway Air features door-to-door service with one toll-free call, 24 hours a day to the Roadway Air Forwarding Center throughout all 50 states and Puerto Rico. Scheduling is also available through my.roadway.com.
