National Carriers Increases Entry Lease

National Carriers, Liberal, Kan., recently increased the amount of its entry lease for owner operators.

National increased the amount by 1 cent per loaded mile and 2 cents per empty mile on the 48 State Refrigerated Lease. This boosts the compensation package for new lessees from 82 cents loaded/81 cents empty to 83 cents per mile on all miles.
The increase will take effect January 1, 2002.
