Celadon Group, Indianapolis, has changed the name of its Canadian trucking operations to Celadon Canada Inc. from Gerth Transport Ltd.

The name change was effective October 24 and is being followed up with the rebranding of Gerth Trucks and trailers to carry the Celadon Canada logo and colors.
Celadon Group acquired Gerth in 1998 as a key component in completing Celadon's lane strength from Mexico to Canada. Based in Kitchener, Ontario, Gerth is the number one carrier in the Canada-Mexico lane.
"The rebranding achieves our objective of presenting one face and one brand to our customers," said Steve Russell, Celadon Chairman and CEO.
Celadon's other U.S. trucking operation, Zipp Express, and Celadon's Mexican trucking unit, Jaguar, are also being rebranded to carry the Celadon logo and colors.
