Werner Honors Safe Drivers

Werner Enterprises, Omaha, Neb., celebrated the impressive careers of six of its drivers.

Together, Werner drivers James Armstrong, Bill Dunson, Charlie Endorf, Wayne Johnson, Darrell Jones and Gerald Trent have driven more than 16 million accident-free miles during their combined 136 years of service with the company.
"These drivers represent the best in the business," said Ron DeBord, director of driver relations. "They have driven in sleet, snow, rain and wind. These definitely are drivers you can count on."
Their tenure and miles driven break down as follows:

• James Armstrong - 24 years and 2.5 million accident-free miles (Vans)
• Bill Dunson - 22 years and 2.3 million accident-free miles (Vans)
• Charlie Endorf - 25 years and 3.5 million accident-free miles (Owner-Operator Vans)
• Wayne Johnson - 21 years and nearly 3 million accident-free miles (Vans)
• Darrell Jones - 23 years and 2.5 million accident-free miles (Flatbeds)
• Gerald Trent - 21 years and 2.5 million accident-free miles (Flatbeds).
