Georgia-based regional less-than-truckload carrier Saia this week announced intrastate improvements in the Pacific Northwest and Florida.

Monday, Saia opened terminals in Bend, Ore., and Pasco, Wash. The new terminals will let Saia provide timely intrastate shipments across Oregon and Washington. Saia also has terminals in Eugene, Medford and Portland, Ore., and in Seattle, Spokane and Yakima, Wash.
On the other end of the country, Said is offering Florida LTL shippers 100-percent guaranteed delivery for loads picked up and delivered within the state. Named I-GO, for Intrastate Guaranteed Offer, the promotion was first introduced last year in Louisiana. Customers just write "I-GO" anywhere in the body of their bill of lading for the free guarantee to kick in.
