Eastbound I-285 at Ga. 400 will reopen two weeks ahead of schedule.

According to The Atlanta Journal and Constitution, the road could be reopened by Saturday.
Three eastbound lanes have been closed since June 9, when a tanker truck crash and explosion caused parts of the concrete bridge to break and steel beams to buckle.
DOT officials originally predicted it would take six weeks to repair the bridge, but the steel beams were repaired in less than two weeks and construction crews have made good time.
