Consolidated Freightways has named Brian Casey to head up its Mexico business operations south of the border.
CF Afri-Loder, Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, is the only international LTL carrier operating within Mexico, according to the company. CFAL is part of CF's Mexico division, which operates 22 terminals, 12 in the U.S. and 10 in Mexico.
As general director of CFAL, Casey is responsible for operations, sales, marketing and administration throughout Mexico. His job is to extend CF's long-haul operations and capabilities throughout Mexico.
A 17-year veteran of CF, Casey has held numerous terminal manager positions in the Southwest. For the past three years he has been group operations manager in El Paso, CF's second-largest Mexico gateway.
