The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department has unveiled a web site with information on this summer's extensive highway construction in the state.
The "Paving the Way" site, at www.arkansasinterstates.com, features a map showing construction zones, as well as the nearest exits you can get off on to take an alternate route.
During a normal summer, 15 to 25 miles of Arkansas interstates are under construction. This summer, 200 miles will be tied up in construction zones.
The department also plans to add highway advisory radio frequencies and changeable message boards in some areas.
ABF Trucking is helping the Highway Department with travel times to be listed on the web site.
